KAMLOOPS!!!!!!

Well the title says it all! Sunday went to the loops with Mike Kirk from cyclepath and a whole cast of characters. one of the best days of the year so far for sure! here's a run down of the trip: left cyclepath around 9 5 vehicle convoy! tom almost died on the way! get to the ranch around 11 or so do 3laps of the dh course Spencer breaks a chain first run and ride the rest of the day chain-less, i bailed 2nd run on the seep section slide down the hill 50 ft or so awesome! head over to Rio (one of the best trails in b.c. if you haven't ridden it get there and do it) had 14 or 15 guys i think so chaos ensued Matt ended up upside down under his bike up hill on the trail while leading the pack! minor pile up after that. Andrew ate it hard a couple of times got his bell rung pretty good but kept on trucking. At the bottom everyone collected and nothing but high fives all around and what you didn't see or weren't a part of you heard about! hit up the local subway for some lunch! back to the top of Rio for run 2 Mike loses his phone more a few more crashes but a way tamer run. Retrieval run mike finds phone in the middle of the trail 2 seconds before it gets landed on by another rider good timing! back to the ranch where its windy as can be for and hour or so i get blown over mid air by the windy and take a pretty good spill bruise my knee up goodand crack my helmet visor so my days done but the rest of the boys want to hit this huge hip that's on the other side of the ranch and a super sick session goes down
Matt no foot can on his driver 8

The new bits

the ride looking good!
Big thanks to Rich and Russ over at Sovereign for getting the parts in for me! By the way go check them out if you haven't yet such a nice shop!
So to the most important part The first 4 rides on the bike all of which were at Postil.
Ride One
In two words Life Changing! going from a sx trail with 6.7in of travel to the plush 8.3 of the goose it's incredible! It feels so nice and effortless, not to mention FAST wow! Feels the way a bike should feel! So the first ride was 2 laps of addiction after work with friends and soon to be regulars on the blog John and Rob aka Muffin Man. Good riding for the first time out on the new bike skipped a few bigger stunts like the ski booter but all in all an awesome first rip!
Rides 2-4
All really good. Postil gets better and better every time i ride it big props to the guys putting in a ton of effort to keep the trails perfect! Ride 3 was the break out ride on the new bike for sure got everything pretty dialed suspension wise and got back into doing the ski booter! Had a ton of fun riding with a whole bunch of people thanks to all who were shuttling and having good times right along side us! sorry for the no pics from the trails yet i got a new camera this week so the next ride will include pics for sure so until the next ride!
